The Role
Payroll Manager
Our client, who provides compliant and innovative Umbrella payroll solutions to contractors and temporary workers in a wide range of sectors and industries across the UK, has a requirement for an experienced Manager to oversee the day to day running of a Payroll team.
The main duties will include management of a team of Payroll Administrators and 2 Senior Payroll Administrators, ensuring deadlines are met and a high quality payroll service is delivered with a proactive attitude. The role would include managing team performance, coaching and developing the payroll team, and building a culture of customer service within the payroll day to day f unction.
The role will also entail ensuring the payrolls are delivered to the Service Level agreements, attending service review meetings and implementing corrective action when necessary. A key element of the role will be to work in co-ordination with the Finance Manager to identify and implement improvement to procedures and standard of practice.
Additionally, the Payroll Manager will work closely with Sales Ledger Co-ordinator to make certain delivery of service to our clients are of high standard.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in managing a team
Proven payroll experience
Understanding of Sales Ledger functions
Proven experience of high volume Payroll environment preferred
Experience in the use of the following software is essential

Sage Payroll
Navision Financial Management
CRM-Customer Relationship Management
Location: Glasgow, next to Shields Road underground.
Salary: £20,000pa - £22000pa
