THE ROLE Commercial Banking Director
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £35,000 to £55,000
Benefits Package:Bonus, Pension & Car Allowance
Due to strategic growth and aligned with a strategy of expansion, a leading banking organisation has an excellent opportunity for a Relationship Manager within Commercial Banking.
This role be part of a new SME focussed team in Glasgow, where experienced credit and support functions are already in place. Using and developing key relationships within the commercial sector you will be expected to establish your own portfolio. This can be considered a hybrid role, as you will be sourcing new to bank business and managing these connections as you bring them on.
To be successful you will need to have a working knowledge of commercial banking in the region and it is essential that you can demonstrate excellent business development skills. You will be familiar with lending to commercial trading businesses, where deal sizes have regularly been between £1milllion and £5million, and you managed the entire process. You will preferably be currently employed in a commercial environment and looking to progress your career with added responsibly and further rewards. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is unable to grow their current portfolio, or is being stifled by 'over zealous' credit procedures. In return you will receive a fantastic remuneration and benefits package.
