THE ROLE
Accountable for leading a team delivering a high quality service to its clients in a diverse range of business segments including investment management, private banking and brokerage.
The candidate will work in a demanding environment and be able to show attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines whilst monitoring and checking the work of others and providing coaching to colleagues whilst leading a team to deliver cash processing activity in the UK and Foreign markets in accordance with FSA and local regulatory requirements with a focus on accurate and timely execution. The role holder will keep informed of all new market initiatives and evolve our processes and products as required.
THE EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership within a banking environment. The candidate will have a proven record within an operational environment demonstrating a well developed understanding of operational processes and the concept of risk management and control.
Exposure to the UK regulatory environment and experience of audit processes is also desirable. The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with a positive can do attitude, commitment and a focus on succeeding in a challenging environment. The ability to contribute and challenge within a team to improve performance will be essential along with the ability to communicate with peers and senior members of the team. The candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work accurately to deadlines and will be committed to proactively seeking new and innovative customer focused solutions.
