| Job Title - Experimental/Analytical Engineer Job profile - Define test requirements Develop test programme, including schedule and budget planning Develop testing methods and programs for data acquisition and analysis Coordinate and manage R&D testing of new machine prototypes Implement and coordinate changes to test, test equipment and instrumentation specifications Analyse tests and compile documentation during and after testing Have close contacts with testing and other related departments Develop noise-reduction technologies Perform acoustic assessments and noise analyses Perform and analyse tests of standard and special products when necessary Perform numerical and analytical calculations in the R&D process Company Information Our client is a leading engineering, design and manufacturing company operating in Glasgow Experience & Qualifications - Degree in a suitable engineering discipline Technical competence and demonstrable knowledge of compressor technology General knowledge of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, refrigeration/gas systems and relevant international standards Basic knowledge of measurement technology Use of programming languages: Fortran, C++, Java, Visual Basic Basic skills in using 3D Design Tools such as AutoCAD/Inventor/ProEngineer Well-developed communication skills and team spirit Experience in preparation of noise projections desirable Location: Glasgow Salary: Neg Apply online! :dcumming@fpsg.co.uk Contact Details Contact Name:Dave Cumming Direct Dial: 0141 270 5007 |
