Health and Safety Manager required for Glasgow.

Working with clients in the residential, retail, office, health, defence and secure sectors,they deliver through a variety of procurement routes, including traditional contracting, design and build and partnering.


Duties and responsibilities:
To advise and support the business unit across the disciplines of safety, quality and environment management and practices.
Assist in development and implementation of integrated management systems.
Undertake workplace inspections and audits to monitor compliance to standards and systems.
Production of monthly reports as required by IMS Manager.
Effective and timely investigation and reporting of key concerns.
Plan and conduct effective integrated audits of company systems.
Review and promulgation of industry standards and best practice.
Regular effective meetings and liaison with project/office staff and customers Develop relationships with interested parties, especially in the field of safety, quality and environment.
Introduction of systems to ensure continued awareness of new and pending legislation and other changes in the field of safety, quality and environment.
Undertake accident/incident reporting and investigation in accordance with legislation and industry procedures.
