| New Job: Graduate Civil Engineer Job Location: Glasgow Job Salary: £25k - £32k + Benefits, Free Parking, Close to major train station My client is is an independent British consulting engineering practice originally established in 1972. The firm provides consulting engineering and project management services in civil, structural and coastal engineering and undertake offshore engineering consultancy for the oil and gas industry. They have particular expertise in devising economical design solutions for heavy civil and marine engineering projects. Due to continued expansion a vacancy has arisen for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join there Glasgow office. There present work load includes Heavy reinforced concrete and steel work design associated with Bridges, jetties and Harbour work. Projects are both UK and internationally based. Although the office is small, excellent training will be given and candidates will be encouraged to manage projects at an early stage. The right applicant will be engaged in a number of interesting projects at a variety of different stages. This job may suit someone who is not interested in working for a large organisation where they will not enjoy much responsibility. The right applicant should be educated to degree level (Beng Civil Engineering) and have previous experience in the design of structural steel and concrete. Please contact me for further info. |
