THE ROLE:Claims Advisor LOCATION: Glasgow City Centre SALARY: £13,357 per annum HOURS: 35 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm plus 1 in 4 Saturdays BENEFITS: Employer funded pension, Profit Share of up to 10% of annual salary, Sharesave Scheme, 22 days annual leave entitlement and flexible benefits package to suit your lifestyle. THE COMPANY Our client, a UK leader in the provision of consumer insurance including; Motor, Home and Travel are currently expanding their national operations across all products. They are a large blue chip organisation with a variety of subsidiaries. THE ROLE Your duties will include handling inbound calls from existing customers, registering new home insurance claims varying from simple damage to home contents i.e. carpets and furniture to extensive buildings damage due to drainage issues or in more severe cases both contents and buildings claims due to fire or flood where the entire property is damaged. To manage this role our client require candidates to have, proficient keyboard skills with preferred basic knowledge in word and excel, excellent listening and communication skills, be able to multi-task (dealing with incoming calls as well as dealing with customer post and payments), have the numerical ability to calculate percentages for customer payments and have the ability to organise their work in an effective and productive manner. EXPERIENCE Previous customer service experience coupled with the drive to work towards targets is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.
