THE ROLE - AVP Corporate Actions Location: Glasgow Salary: circa £60,000 Rewards Package:Bonus, Pension & Benefits COMPANY We are working in partnership with one of the worlds most dynamic and progressive financial organisations who, due to expansion, have an exciting opportunity within Corporate Actions. Serving ultra high net worth, affluent and intermediary clients worldwide, they provide true international financial services including investment management and brokerage. ROLE You will manage a division of teams whose primary responsibility is to provide clients with a Corporate Actions service for all assets held in custody. This involves collating of all market intelligence in the International market, as well as the UK markets, notifying clients of any capital reorganisations and collating responses. Ultimately you will ensure that the outturn of the capital reorganisation is distributed to clients in the form of cash or stock in an accurate and timely manner. You will also ensure that quality is maintained whilst the business grows, implementing productivity measures where appropriate. In addition, you will be responsible for the migration of work to Glasgow, again ensuring the service delivered to the client remains consistent and of the highest standard EXPERIENCE As the successful candidate you will have previous experience of second-line management for differing processes within a Corporate Actions environment. As you are required to create, prepare and control the teams MI, you will have the ability to interact and communicate with staff at all levels. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the team while motivating and developing their direct reports and the wider group.
