| New Job: Senior Project Engineer Job Location: Glasgow Job Salary: £36k - £41k + Car (or car allowance), Health, Pension, Flexible Benefits, City Centre Location. My client is one of the premier multi disciplinary engineering consultancys in the world. The Civils & Infrastructure team is part of the Scotland Engineering Department, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Delivering to a broad range of clients across the industrial, engineering and development markets in the private and public sectors the Department works closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues from all engineering functions. The successful candidate will work with a growing team as a senior project civil engineer in the Civils & Infrastructure (Scotland) team. Provide day-to-day management and delivery of civil/structural projects under their control. Reporting to the Technical Director, Senior Project Engineers are responsible for project management including financial monitoring, supervision of teams with allocation and monitoring of tasks, liaison with Clients, Stakeholders and Utility Agencies. The candidate will also be involved in business development alongside the directors. Senior Project Engineers are appointed to take responsibility for Projects as described below. Senior Project Quality Management - Project Reviews - Project Variations - Project Deliverables Supplier Control/Purchasing - Control of Non-conformities Project Records - Project Closure - Project Archiving Risk Management - Design Risk Management - Project Financial Management - Project Health and Safety Management Workingalongside fellow talentedindividuals you may be requiredto lead and mentor younger members of staff.
