First People Solutions are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to join one of the UKs largest Civil Engineering main contractors. Main responsibilities associated with the role will be to assist with setting out activity, to participate in the keeping of records and logs as instructed/ requested by site management, to manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client/ designer, maintain a drawing register, liaise with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws and to take an interest in and assist in all aspects of the project including but not limited to Health, Safety and Environmental issues.

THE COMPANY
Our client has proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable candidates should have setting out experience and knowledge of the technical construction industry. A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also required from interested applicants.
