| New Job: Section Manager Job area: Glasgow Job salary: £39k - £45k My client is a world renowned engineering consultancy specialising in rail engineering. They have considerable skills in railway bridges, stations and other civil engineering works in a railway environment. They undertake feasibility studies, scheme designs and detailed designs for all types of railway structure. The office is city centre based and is very close to all major transport links. Due to continued expansion, opportunities exist for engineering managers to join there Civils/Structural and Bridges Sections in Glasgow. You will have responsibility for the management and development of the section. The role will involve the design of buildings, stations, car parks and other structures for railway projects/design and structural assessment of bridges for railway projects. You will also be involved in marketing activities and generating new business. The right applicant should have Good experience of building design and structures assessment, drainage design, some highway design experience/Good experience of bridge design and construction and Proven team leader experience.
