Job Description

Credit Analyst required for a leading power management company based in Glasgow city centre. The primary function of this role will be to improve effeciencies for the Credit function across the EMEA region in particular DSO and collection efficiency

You responsibilities will include the following:

Improve collection efficiency and DSO Works on key projects to improve productivity Work on Automated solutions that add value to the credit function Analyses collection performance for own portfolio and provides Month End Credit Metrics Dispute management Review customer credit Risk to mitigate bad debts Interfacing with key external stakeholders within regional operational plants – Sales, credit and finance teams. Monthly review of internal credit scoring – Major accounts

Your experience will include:

At least 3 years experience in a UK/European Cash Collection role Oracle experience advantageous Intermediate/advanced Excel skills required Ability to produce month end credit metrics for own portfolio of accounts German/Polish Languages advantageous Proven ability to improving collection efficiency/current DSO/current receivables and cash flow Membership of Institute of Credit Management and interest in studying for ICM grad. qualification advantageous Ability to work on credit automation projects to deliver productivity savings Credit Risk/Scoring experience preferred
