Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Accountant for a European leader in global banking and financial services. This role is based in Glasgow and is a fixed term contract between 6 to 12 months. The salary for this role is up to £35,000 depending on experience.

The main function of this position will be to provide knowledge and accurate timing of the companies technical developments for authorised funds. You will obtain an insight and understanding into both the technical and regulatory developments that are impacting UT and OEICs funds. You will oversee the completion and implementation of any projects assigned by the manager and assist with the managing, planning and implementation of new Fund take-ons & other projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• €¢ Write reports or provide training if required, to UTA and NAV teams, with regards to any new technical and regulatory development, which will impact UTA and NAV teams.

• €¢ Produce development specifications documents as required and complete timely implementation of the development

• €¢ Proactively manage the relationships, and communicate effectively both orally & in written form with other areas

Experience required:

• €¢ Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant.

• €¢ Previous experience in Fund or Technical Accountant role
