Job Description
My client who is based in Glasgow is looking for a Financial/Investment/Performance Analyst. The role will include providing accurate, consistent and a timely analyses on all funds under managements including performance measurement, asset allocation, portfolio analysis and risk measures.
You have an understanding of equity and will have some reconciliation experience as well as having excellent Excel knowledge.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Using performance/attribution software, create, quality control and distribute monthly internal results for all funds to sector level, to strict deadlines and in agreed formats.
* Provide further analysis as requested by recipients, and explain and present the calculations and results as required.
* Update monthly fund benchmarks, incorporating changes to asset allocation or structure.
* Assist in maintenance of GIPS compliant composites, including maintenance of records, composite construction and calculation and creation of GIPS compliant presentations.
* Provide portfolio and performance information to the Client Relationship and Marketing teams, providing support and analysis for Trustee meetings, pitches, surveys and regular client reports.
* FSA regulations and compliance issues.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role together with the ability to solve complex problems.
