A fantastic opportunity has arisen within this national charitable organisation to join their professional team. In this role you will be heading up the Learning & Development function across Scotland in charge of 4 regional sites as part of your national remit. This organisation are instrumental in assisting people with a range of abilities and support needs, in the form of home care, drop in centres and respite care.
As a senior manager within this organisation you will be responsible for leading in the development and implementation of the Learning & Development strategy across all levels of the organisation.
The ideal person for this role will have skills and experience in the following areas in order to be successful:
* Ability to strategically lead a robust learning & development function including technical and soft skills training programs
* Ability to implement a functional Management Development program across the organisation
* Ability to manage a team of up to 25 learning & development professionals
* Meeting and exceeding SVQ obligations and ensuring attainment in line with industry requirements
* Involvement in Investors in People status ensuring criteria is met
Ideally you will have some experience of, or a background in healthcare, public sector, social care or employability. You will have the desire and skills to develop and drive forward a training function in both technical and soft skills with excellent strategic vision.
